On December 15, the Wushan Tunnel, a key project of the Chongqing section of the Zhengzhou-Wanzhou High-speed Railway designed by China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group Co., Ltd. and constructed by China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., was successfully completed. This marks another major progress in the construction of the Zhengzhou-Wanzhou High-speed Railway and lays a solid foundation for the completion and opening of the entire line. Anhui Jarlo wet spraying trolleys were stationed in the tunnel construction of the Xiangshuwan Tunnel (China Railway 5th Bureau Group) and Wushan Tunnel (China Railway 18th Bureau Group) of the Zhengzhou-Wanzhou High-speed Railway in August 2019 and April 2020 respectively. The Zhengzhou-Wanzhou High-speed Railway is located in the three provinces and cities of Henan, Hubei and Chongqing. It is an important part of the Yangtze River Channel and the Huhan Channel in my country's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railway network. The Wushan Tunnel is located in Wushan County, Chongqing City. It is 16.571 kilometers long and has a maximum buried depth of 730 meters. It is a single-hole double-track tunnel with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
Wushan Tunnel has extremely complex geological conditions, a large proportion of weak surrounding rock, and poor geology, making it a high-risk tunnel. During construction, risks such as karstification, deformation and collapse, and water gushing are prominent; due to the large number of tunnel working faces, the construction organization is difficult, and the construction excavation is prone to cause cracks in the highway tunnel, etc., making the design and construction difficult and risky. The designers and constructors have taken measures such as setting up special reinforcement structures and advanced large pipe shed support for the section under the high-speed tunnel to ensure the safety of tunnel construction and highway operation.
In the tunnel support operation, the construction party used Anhui Jarlo 3016F and 3016L for efficient concrete spraying construction. Anhui Jarlo 3016L and 3016F have main arm rotation and spray arm pitch + telescopic, which can adapt to various complex working conditions. The maximum spraying height can reach 16m, and the spraying width can reach 28m. The 360-degree non-indirect brushing nozzle design makes Anhui Jarlo wet spraying trolley spray without dead angles, and the 75Bar spray outlet pressure and optimized less bend pipe design can make the concrete spraying more dense and efficient, and not easy to block the pipe.
Today, the Wushan Tunnel of the Zhengzhou-Wanzhou High-Speed Railway has been successfully completed. According to news from China Railway on December 22, the Xiangshuwan Tunnel will also be successfully completed by the end of December 2020. By then, all tunnel projects of the Zhengzhou-Wanzhou High-Speed Railway will be fully completed.
